Microsoft 365
Pebble IT is a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider delivering Microsoft 365 migration, licensing, security and ongoing support to small and medium-sized businesses across Hertfordshire, Essex and London. From our base in Hoddesdon, we manage the full lifecycle of your Microsoft 365 environment, moving you in smoothly, configuring it securely, and supporting your team day to day. And because we're a Cyber Essentials Plus certified provider, security isn't an add-on to our Microsoft 365 service. It's built into how we set everything up from day one.
Microsoft 365 migration without the drama
Whether you're moving from Google Workspace, an ageing on-premises Exchange server, a legacy IMAP email provider or another company's Microsoft 365 tenant, we've done it many times before. Every migration follows the same staged approach: we audit what you have, plan the move, backup everything, migrate your email, calendars, contacts and files, and schedule the final cutover outside working hours so your team logs in the next morning and simply carries on. Email keeps flowing throughout, no lost messages, no "we're offline while we switch" week. You get a fixed, agreed cost before we start, so there are no surprises partway through. We've run these moves for professional services firms where a day of email downtime is a day of lost billing, so the plan always comes first with zero downtime, ultilising our in house IT projects team.
Licensing that fits, and nothing you don't need
Microsoft 365 licensing is genuinely confusing: Business Basic, Standard and Premium, enterprise plans, monthly versus annual commitments, and add-ons for everything. As a Cloud Solutions Provider we handle your licences directly, which means one point of contact for licensing, billing and support instead of a Microsoft call queue. We right-size licences per role rather than putting everyone on the same plan, review them as your headcount changes, and explain commitment terms in plain English before you sign anything. Most businesses we take on are either over-licensed, under-protected, or both, a licensing review is usually one of the first things we do, and it often pays for itself.
Security-first Microsoft 365
A default Microsoft 365 setup is nowhere near secure enough for a modern business. We harden every tenant we manage: multi-factor authentication enforced properly, conditional access policies that block risky sign-ins, device management through Intune, and sensible controls on external sharing and forwarding rules. Under our managed plan, your Microsoft identities are also monitored around the clock with 24/7 identity threat detection and response, alongside enterprise-grade email security, because most cyber attacks on small businesses start with a compromised Microsoft 365 account or a phishing email. It's the same security-first approach that runs through our Cyber Security, and a well-configured tenant also does a lot of the heavy lifting towards Cyber Essentials certification. For accountants holding client financial records, that hardening isn't optional, it's the baseline their regulator and their clients assume. All of that work shows up in your Microsoft Secure Score, which we review twice a week and report at every review meeting. If you've never seen yours, our guide to what your Secure Score means explains what a good number looks like.
Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive done properly
Microsoft 365 is far more than email. We migrate ageing file servers into SharePoint with a structure that actually makes sense, set up OneDrive so files are protected and available anywhere, and configure Teams so collaboration happens in one place rather than scattered across email threads. Just as importantly, we set the permissions and sharing rules correctly at the start, so the right people see the right files, and nothing sensitive is accidentally shared with the outside world. It's a setup that suits collaborative businesses like marketing agencies especially well, where large files move between teams and clients all day.
Don't forget backup
Here's something many businesses don't realise: Microsoft doesn't back up your Microsoft 365 data in the way most people assume. Retention policies and recycle bins are not a backup, and Microsoft's own shared responsibility model makes clear that protecting your data is your job. We include independent Microsoft 365 cloud backup covering email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, so accidental deletion, malicious activity or a ransomware incident never means permanently lost data.
Copilot ready, when you are
Thinking about Microsoft Copilot? We'll give you an honest answer on whether it's worth it for your business, not a sales pitch. Getting value from Copilot starts with readiness: tidy data, correct permissions (Copilot surfaces anything a user can access, which catches many businesses out) and the right licensing. We prepare tenants for Copilot, run small pilot groups so you can measure the benefit before committing, and roll it out wider only if the numbers stack up.
Already on Microsoft 365? We can take over your tenant
Most of our clients come to us with Microsoft 365 already in place. We audit the tenant, fix the security gaps (there are almost always some), review your licensing for savings, and take over ongoing management, no rebuild, no migration, no disruption to your team.
Ongoing support from a team that answers
Once you're set up, our unlimited remote IT support covers your team for the everyday things: password resets, new starters and leavers, mailbox changes, mobile setup, and all the "how do I…?" questions in between. We proactively monitor and update your environment as part of our single fixed-price managed plan, and where on-site help is needed, visits are quoted and agreed upfront so costs are always clear.
Microsoft 365 support across Hertfordshire, Essex and London
We're based in Hoddesdon and support businesses throughout Hertfordshire, across Essex and into London. Most Microsoft 365 work is delivered remotely, but being local means we can be on-site for migrations, training sessions or project work whenever it helps.
